Christopher Conway is the founder of GreenT Digital, an information technology company that specializes in environmentally responsible technology solutions for individuals and small businesses. The company is the realization of his personal passion for technology and the constant business need for less expensive, greener, and smarter technology solutions. Chris’s professional background laid the groundwork for his breadth of knowledge in the technology space.

Chris began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston where he managed a variety of technology projects and identified technology driven business opportunities. His experience in technology through the corporate lens was the catalyst for him to begin exploring the burgeoning technology and internet–based businesses. He subsequently worked at several such companies in management roles. Most notably, Chris served as the Chief Operating Officer of Eventide Inc., a developer and manufacturer of public safety recording systems, industry leading audio and broadcast equipment and avionics equipment. While at Eventide he oversaw the transition from solid-state recording technology to a Linux-based server solution that is now utilized by government organizations worldwide.

In his various roles, one thing remained consistent. When executing the practical technology needs of his companies, Chris acted as both client and vendor, and was able to identify and service many of his own needs. Problem solving these challenges became a passion that also helped his business endeavors to succeed.

So why did Chris go green? It was the perfect intersection of his desire to be environmentally responsible and fundamental changes in technology and the way it is used. The advent of Cloud Computing meant that doing more with less, thus the ability to reduce our environmental impact. So going green became smart business. GreenT Digital was founded to put this idea into practice.
